At 54,619 square feet, Huntsville, Arkansas' new activity center is a much-anticipated addition to the school district and community. The center, officially named the AT & Georgia Mae Smith Activity Center, is a multipurpose facility where the district hosts basketball and volleyball sporting events, fine arts events for the band and choir departments, and more. The gymnasium has stadium-style seating, and the multi-level building includes locker rooms, media rooms, and offices for coaches. The building's exterior features a striking, modern face characterized by clean lines and angles, and the interior is spacious with high ceilings and a welcoming entry. C.R. Crawford has served as construction manager for this and multiple projects for the Huntsville School District, including renovations, expansions, HVAC upgrades, and new construction. We celebrated the completion of the facility in the fall of 2022 and will be home to many wonderful events for the school district and community for years to come.
