C.R. Crawford Construction was founded in 2006 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, by Cody Crawford. Having worked in the construction industry for years, Cody had experienced the challenges and understood clients’ frustrations. He established C.R. Crawford on the core belief that by listening to client needs, understanding the uniqueness of each project, and honestly communicating with architects and clients, strong relationships and successful projects would follow. A quality-driven company from day one, C.R. Crawford has continued to provide clients with uncompromising service and personal attention at a competitive price.
In 2007, supporting Cody’s client-centric approach to construction, Scott Stokenbury joined C.R. Crawford as partner and Vice President.

Scott joined C.R. Crawford as a partner and Vice President in 2007. He has worked for companies such as the Llama Company, an investment company founded by Alice Walton; Walmart, in the real estate division, where he was responsible for negotiating debt and lease transactions between Walmart and landowners throughout the United States; and Ozark Assets, where he coordinated commercial development projects.
An encouraging leader, Scott oversees the company’s business development team and places a high value on personal relationships which is reflected in the company’s rapid growth and strong base of repeat clients. Cody is owner and founder of C.R. Crawford Construction. As Chief Visionary Officer, Cody’s focus is on strategically growing the business, staying engaged with clients, and ensuring the company is meeting each client’s unique needs. His entrepreneurial spirit drives his push for progress and advancement to the benefit of employees, clients, subcontractors, and trade partners and his forward vision for the company is grounded in client-satisfaction.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in finance and real estate from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock.An avid outdoorsman, he serves on the board of directors for the Arkansas Game& Fish Foundation and enjoys hunting with clients, friends, and family. Much of Cody and his wife’s time is spent shuffling their kids to the sport or activity of the season. When activities give them a break, the family enjoys mountain biking, swimming, and fishing on the White River.
John joined C.R. Crawford in 2017 as Vice President of Project Management. His client-focused mindset and leadership skills have helped direct the company’s tremendous growth. Under John’s leadership, C.R. Crawford has received numerous awards and recognition including a national ranking in 2021 on the prestigious ENR (Engineering News Record) Top 400 Contractors list. Having managed complex project sin excess of $350M, John has led some of the state’s largest and most recognizable projects including Simmons Foods in Gentry, Arkansas (the largest construction project in the state at the time).
Serving now as President of C.R. Crawford, John is responsible for establishing the company’s vision and strategy, seeing that they are communicated to all employees, and effectively carried out. He focuses on continuing the company’s progress as an industry leader and growth-oriented business. John’s success is grounded in his desire to see those around him succeed and he continually strives to advance the success of the individuals and organizations in his sphere of influence.
John graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and is a 2022 Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 honoree. Modeling hard work, integrity, and selfless giving and serving to his children, John puts family first.
When not working, John enjoys snow skiing, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his wife and children.

Aaron joined C.R. Crawford in2021 and provides extensive knowledge in pre-construction, general contracting, and construction management to the company. He has devoted his career to building strong client relationships and leading project teams in achieving successful completion and meeting aggressive schedules.
As Chief Operating Officer, Aaron provides experience and leadership to the company’s project management team and works with the company’s business development and pre-construction services departments throughout the bidding process and award of projects. With an eye for improving quality and processes, he gives special attention to ensuring clients experience a seamless transition from pre-construction to project management once projects are awarded. To continue the company’s rapid growth and position as an industry leader, Aaron puts a focus on developing client relationships – with a goal that every client becomes a repeat client.
Aaron holds a Bachelor ofScience in Construction Management from the University of Arkansas – LittleRock.
When he’s not working, Aaron and his wife enjoy time with family, watching their children play sports, and shuffling them to various activities. He does his best to sneak in a hunting or fly-fishing trip on occasion.
Jason joined C.R. Crawford in 2016 as human resources and investment director. He advanced to his current position of Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Prior to joining the company, Jason served as senior real estate manager and senior human resources manager for Walmart. With years of experience in real estate and finance, his ability to steer the company’s financial systems and performance is reflected in C.R. Crawford’s growth and success. Jason’s daily focus is on maintaining the financial health of the company as well as its robust corporate culture. Under his financial leadership, the company remains debt free and well positioned to be aggressive but flexible as market conditions allow for future growth.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas. He is a graduate of Leadership Benton County, serves as a board member of the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust, and is a member of the University of Arkansas Walton College MBA Alumni Advisory Board.
When not working, Jason and his wife dedicate their time to attending their children’s sporting events and many other activities. He also enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.
With more than 40 years as a construction industry professional, Mike brings a unique blend of leadership, knowledge, and experience to C.R. Crawford. He began his construction industry career by serving in a business development and project management capacity for two different commercial construction companies before starting his own building firm. After many successful years in business, Mike wanted to step back into a business development role where he could best use his skills of building relationships, establishing client trust, and focusing on client needs.
In 2014, Mike joined the C.R. Crawford business development team and has proven to be a significant asset. He works to seek new opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy and focuses on clients in the industrial, warehouse, food and beverage, retail, multifamily, and hospitality industries.
Mike has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.
When he’s not working, he spends his time hunting, fishing, attending Razorback sporting events, hosting family dinners, and entertaining clients.
Leigh Ann joined C.R. Crawford’s business development team in 2019. She is a genuine leader with expertise in managing projects, communicating details, and negotiating contracts. Prior to working for C.R. Crawford, she was an account manager/sales professional for Shutterfly/Lifetouch National School Studios and has more than 19 years of experience building relationships with administrators, executing deals of products and services, and nurturing existing customers.
LeighAnn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She uses her ability to visualize a project in its completion and her knowledge of the construction industry to most effectively evaluate a client’s plan. Focused on developing long-term relationships, she takes a personal interest in assisting clients through all phases of construction.
When she’s not at work, Leigh Ann and her husband enjoy watching their two sons play sports, cheering on the Hogs, snow skiing, working in the yard, and cooking/grilling for friends. They both serve on the Searcy KLIFE board of directors and serve at their church. Leigh Ann has been a member of her local PEO chapter for 15 years. She enjoys morning hot yoga classes, pickle ball, floating the BuffaloRiver, decorating her home, and traveling.
Trent, a registered architect, worked for an architecture firm for nine years before joining C.R. Crawford in 2014. Trent’s client-focused approach, attention to quality, and excellent team leadership have been pivotal to the company’s success. Always seeking to create positive experiences and increased value for clients, he uses his design background and project management skills to the benefit of every client and design team the company engages with.
Trent now serves as Vice President of Pre-Construction and is responsible for overseeing C.R. Crawford’s team of estimators and ensuring the strategy for client engagement is efficient and effective. He places an emphasis on seeing that his team has the resources and training necessary to be successful – which creates a ripple effect of satisfaction for project owners.
Trent holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. He is a former board president for Open Avenues, a nonprofit located in Rogers, Arkansas, and he and his family attend First Baptist Church in Rogers. When not at work, Trent can be found coaching his son’s sports teams; spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, or camping; or cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Since joining C.R. Crawford in 2012, Dave has earned numerous individual and company safety-related awards on local and national levels. Dave began his career at C.R. Crawford as a superintendent, then moved into a project management role before advancing to his current position as Director ofSafety & Compliance. His success is fostered by a strict adherence to regulation. His diligence to protocol and procedure is met without opposition on job sites as it is evident to the crews that he genuinely cares about their health and safety, as well as that of all visitors to the site.
Dave attended Kennesaw State University and, over the years, has racked up a lengthy and impressive list of safety certifications and completed training courses – including certifications such as Specialist in Safety & Health in Construction from the University of Texas and OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer. In 2021, Dave started C.R. Crawford Training Academy to help empower employees to achieve at an even higher level by filling inexperience gaps.
When he’s not working, he enjoys coaching his daughter’s softball team, bass fishing, attending Drum Crops International events, and time with his family.
