Last Tuesday, our team celebrated the topping-out of the Eastern Shawnee tribe’s administration building. Along with a beam signing, Chief Glenna J. Wallace spoke at the ceremony, sharing that it was the Native Americans who "began the tradition of topping off buildings with evergreens to honor the forest spirits, in keeping with their belief that no structure should stand taller than a tree."Congratulations to our clients and collaborators and special thanks to the steel erectors, Browers & Associates, for their significant part in the project and ceremony! Once complete, the building will house the offices of the chief, tribal administration, and council chambers, fostering leadership and community for generations to come. We're proud to be a part of this culturally rich project in Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
