In early August, public school administrators from around the State met in Little Rock for the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA) summer conference. This conference provides school administrators with the opportunity to share best practices and attend breakout sessions to learn of current trends in K-12 education. At this year’s conference, two members of the C.R. Crawford team, Richard Johnson, Director of Business Development, and Phil Jones, Business Development Officer, presented a breakout session titled, “Current Trends in Creating Spaces To Support Student Achievement.” In this session, Richard and Phil discussed how the current thinking in learning content and delivery, including workforce development, is influencing the design and construction of the learning environment. The session was well attended by administrators from school districts throughout Arkansas, and the content shared at the conference can be accessed via the link accompanying this update. If you are a school administrator or school board member and want additional information regarding design and construction trends, or cost data for school projects, contact Richard or Phil. You will find they are as passionate about providing a great learning environment for your students as you are.
